+ Laburnocytisus adamii

Location: Grown for its curiosity value in collections and gardens, but a rather unattractive straggly tree when not in flower.

Originally produced by grafting Dwarf Purple Broom (Cytisus purpureus), onto the Common Laburnum (Laburnum anagyroides) forming a hybrid or chimaera, at the graft junction.

+ Laburnocytisus adamii

Flowers of hybrid, yellow-purple type are produced along with flowers of both parent trees. The purple broom flowers occur on sprouts of broom type foliage.
