Location: Ornamental cherry.

Prunus 'Spire' came from the same cross and has similar flowers but a narrow shape, about 3m wide at the base and 8m high.

Foliage

Leaves are double toothed and bronzy coloured when young.

Flowers open in mid-April, about 3cm across on long stems.
