Location: Occasionally planted in gardens and collections.


Leaves are set around the shoot, and slightly curved glossy green above with two pale bands beneath.

Pollen and Seed Cones

Cones appear in April, males yellowish, about 12mm long, females reddish green about 5cm long.

Mature cones are 9cm to 12cm long and may be even larger. They have short protruding bracts.
