Location: Grown for ornament in eastern States and Europe.
Height is about 12m but may be taller in forest conditions.

Leaves are the best feature in Europe, turning bright yellow in autumn.

Blossom is white and fragrant and open s in June in bunches 20-35cm long, though not always produced in Europe. Each flower is about 2.5cm long on a hairy stalk.
