Morus alba (White Mulberry)
Location: Long cultivated in other eastern countries and south Europe at the food plant of the silkworm.
Leaves are shinier and less downy than the common mulberry.
Flowers are in separate catkins, males in longer spikes than females, which are about 1.2cm long.
Fruits are about 1.2-2.5cm long, usually white or pink, sometimes dark purple.
