Picrasma quassioides (Picrasma)
Native: Japan, Korea, China, Himalaya
Location: Very decorative but little cultivated in other areas
Leaves colour orange and scarlet in the autumn. They have 9-13 pairs of leaflets.
Flowers open in June, each about 0.5cm across in a loose cluster.
Fruits are about 1cm long, and ripen red in September or October.
